RCT on the effects of yoga on student health
Tiril did a big randomised controlled trial on the effects of yoga on student mental health. They found that yoga two times a week for 12 weeks improved sleep quality and reduced symptoms of depression and anxiety. The effects lasted for at least three months after the yoga course had finished, suggesting lasting effects. The effect sizes were moderate - in line with 1:1 cognitive therapy - hence cost effective. You can read the full article here.
